Custom made rubbers for off road pegs

I've a pair of off road pegs that I like, but they chew up my boots. So, I've gone back to the standard pegs for riding around the UK and Europe. However, I'm heading towards Cape Town in a few months and feel at some point I'll want the off road pegs back on at time. I'd like to get some rubber inserts to go over the pegs, and protect my boots on the easier miles


Anybody know a place that might make this for me?

The CCM GP450 has conventional off road pegs for which you can buy rubber "covers". Not cheap however. Try a call to the factory, they are very helpful people.

cover them with car radiator hose, use zip ties, reducing vibes as well

In the end I swallowed it and bought a pair of SW Moto pegs from Germany. The rubber tops screw in securely and you can buy spares. Roughly its 100 euro's for pegs and fittings. And 50 more for a spare set of pegs/rubbers.


I'm happy with them so far, I'll see when they count of course
