Saw some 'yoga towels' in TKMax for £10 that looked 'microfiberish' - it's massive and lays over the whole mat to absorb sweat/help grip, etc. A good beach towel maybe? I'll try and have a proper look at the 'ingredients' next time I'm near there.

exactly. an old marketing trick, as soon as you put a "tagword" in front of something it adds value. 'camping' towels, 'bikers' undies, 'gun' oil etc.
i do a lot of shooting and play golf but most of my clothing comes from the local fishing tackle shop, its the same stuff even the same brands sometimes but up to half the price.
always in green though.......

I checked out that £10 'yoga' towel in my local TKMax. Definitely 'Microfibre' and big - a good 5'6" long x 2' wide and a dull 'purplely' colour. I must have looked a bit odd, but I managed to roll it up pretty small to about the size of a bike bottle.

Anyway, I hope it helps.

We bought the Sea To Summit Tek Towel (Large one) in the end. I'm using it at home at the moment and it seems to be quite good...so far:thumbup1:
