I’m also for the altberg boots, that are really dual purpose, you can use them for 98% of your time so that you need a pair of flip flops for the other 2%!
Keeping your crap to a minimum is one of the secrets of a successful long bike trip, though there is a whole industry out there trying to persuade you otherwise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Put boots in backpack
Quote:
However I always pack a pair of good, light walking shoes and a super small foldable backpack (like; Sea to summit ultra sil day pack (20l) or the duffle bag with a shoulder strap (40 l). So when getting of the bike to walk for a while I'll put my boots in this super small backpack and carry them with me. How big of a backpack/dufflebag you need depends on the size of your feet/boots. Hope this helps! |
