Big Agnes Sleeping Bag?
Does anyone have any experience using a Big Agnes Sleeping Bag? It looks like a good system as the sleeping pad goes into a Velcro closed sleeve & then there would be no slipping off the pad.

Ever tried .....
.... Slumberjack?? They come a bit bulky, at least the warmer ones, but ....!!
A good place to check for all kind of outdoor equipment is Sierra Trading Post (just google or yahoo for it). Got most of my stuff from that place and (almost) always more than satisfied. :thumbup1: |
I have a Big Agnes bag and pad works grate together. I in a "wedgie" bag extender to add a little room in the bag with out having to get bigger bag. All and all a good system that works.

I have a Big Agnes Summit Park 15 degree bag, and absolutely love it. Excellent performance over a wide range of temperatures, I've camped in the snow and on the beach using the same bag.
Packs nice and small for use on the bike, and depending upon my carrying capacity I either use a smaller Thermarest Guide Light pad, or the Big Agnes Dual Core wide pad (which is about 6" x 15" packed). It's nice to be able to roll around a bit in the bag, and the other features of the bag are well thought out and work well. HTH, -H- |
Big Agnes
I've got a fair amount of experience with Big Agnes equipment, as my company, Full Throttle Camping, carries their equipment and is often confused with Big Agnes. In fact, when I show up at events, people usually say, "The Big Agnes guy is here."
Anyway, if you have any specific questions about Big Agnes sleeping bags and/or pads, I'd be happy to take a crack at them for you. I've had a Summit Park and now have a Lost Ranger and a Crystal. My wife uses a Roxy Ann. We both use Insulated Air Core pads. The FAQ pages on my website - Full Throttle Camping - might be helpful. |
I have been away and have just caught up with things today. Thank you very much for all the replies, they have been very helpful!
