Vacuum Pipes on F650 Touratch Tanks Perished
 

Hi All

I am just dusting down the old girl as need to get her ready for the summer.

I have noticed that my vacuum hoses on my Touratech front fuel tanks on my F650 Dakar have perished and need to be replaced.

Could someone let me know if it is possible to use same diameter fuel hoses or do the have to be vacuum hoses?

I have a spare set of fuel hoses with a black nylon outer that are the same diameter, my worry with these is that all the dust and crap etc would stick to them making a mess under the tank. Anybody have any views on this?

I know that I can probably order a new set from Touratech but will expect them to be double the price of just buying the correct hose locally.
