X Ring Chain
 

I found the X ring superb, did 6000k two up and only adjusted it once on the trip, I did use wax as opposed to oil as not to get it covered in sand. I did wax it daily though.

I would recommed adjusting it with your luggage on though as mine was way to tight after loading the bike and pillion. perhaps this is why some riders are getting premature wear on the chains.
