Just an update on the g/s. she's back to all blue again as I did not like the added weight of the heavier subframe exhaust and bigger tank. I just had to fix a busted turn signal stalk. She is still running great and the points system is working flawlessly. I do have an oil wheep in the front rotor area...but don't feel it's anything to worry about. The worst thing I see is that the alt light comes on at idle.

Seriously though. I had briefly concidered doing that alt option for a few minutes but it's too heavy, expensive, exposed to the elements, and again..WAY TOO HEAVY. :mchappy:

Take a look at a friend of mines mod..800watts:eek3:

Graham,
Not sure myself, but Greg Hutchinson out of CA would know as he has done a few. Not sure why you would need such a setup.

Been a while since I was on here. Been building a new house and this year a barn. The G/s is still kicking. Still looking for a larger tank for it and planning on messing with the carbs more this year are the fuel consumption is too much.

The forks are also getting a repaint and hoping to extend the skid further to the rear.

Have noticed a lot of oil leaks with new seals so have a feeling the synthetic oil is going away in favor of old dyno oil.
