Sorry, bit late this but hey...

I have owned my 1100GS for about 5 years now. I've done about 60kmiles on it. I've taken it across Salisbury plain (mostly dry, with some muddy bits) and it's been great.

I service it myself, which is easy, just be careful with the whole TPS/throttle body balance thing. The most complex thing replaced so far was the paralever bearings.

I will never sell this bike, I love it.
