Mitas E07 tyres UK

Hi everyone, I was at the HUBBUK and a few people there said the Mitas E07 is a brilliant tyre... OK but it's allso cheap, my local dealer reckon it's cheap and rubbish, I don't care about the price but do care about quality.

Anyone have any thoughts on the subject? Thanks

"Brilliant" might be overstating it but it's been a good all rounder for me - last well, grips well (particularly in the wet compared to my previous knobblies) and well built.

It's cheap(ish) in the UK but not in the US. We were trying to get a set for a KLR650 in early May and I was really surprised at how much more they cost over there.

Your dealer didn't have some alternatives he wanted to sell you did he?

your local dealer don't know a sh@$t - mitas are very good tyres,
i run second season on stoneking C21, C01 and E09. Almost half the price of
corresponding Michelin tyres and only slightly worse.

The E07 is very popular in South Africa - and there the guys ride lots of dirt roads.
I tried the E08, which has a similar profile as the Metzeler Tourance and felt good. Unfortunately the tyre showed cracks next to the knobs, but this was after over 6,000 kays. The tread was still good then.
I tried to get the E07 as tubeless, but unfortunately Mitas hasn't managed to get the front tyre 21" for tubeless rims yet - just the rear tyre.
