Hot Starting r1150
 

When re-starting after a stop of about 30-45 min the bike starts ok but as soon as I try to pull away it virtualy stalls, shakes and bangs and if you dont catch it stops. It will restart ok then have to give it a big handfull and it seems to clear up and then ok.
Cold starting never a problem. The dealer had it for 2 days and came back with a bill for new coils,leads, plugs and some injector set up work .I had an idea this was not it and I was right.
The collector has been replaced with a Staintune one and a Remus Can fitted any ideas?

Replace the fuel filter?

Does the bike idle smoothly once started?

Do you have the full service history of the bike, if so, post details please.

once it has started from cold or hot it runs ok.
I have owned it from 900 mls. it now has 15000 in about 16 months and servising has beed done at a main agent but I know the filter has not been changed.

Fuel filters don't normally need changing until 24,000 miles.

Try a different dealer? I can think of 3 main dealers south, east & north of Reading.
