Front forks 12GSA
 

Has anyone had any problems with their pinch bolts on the bottom fork brace coming loose, my local BMW dealer has been informed and they are aware that they do "undo themselves". Is it wise to "locktite" them. Thanks

36 Veiwings and not an answer, is evryone on their jolly hols....

On 1100 and 1150 they are Locktited, can't see reason why they aren't on the 1200.

There are lots of reports of this problem over on UKGSer* ::::* For BMW GS Enthusiasts - pretty scarey when you think that the structural integrity of the front end depends on these bolts staying in place. People have loctitied them and marked them so that can visually see if there is any movement. Not a problem on the 1100 or 1150's as far as I am aware.
