Extra fuel filter in a BMW F650 GS Dakar?
Is true that is not convenient to put an extra fuel filter (the popular paper filter) in a F650 GS Dakar, couse it reduce the pressure?

Yes and no. Yes you can't put in a paper filter. You have to use a filter designed for FI systems like on most cars.
No it wouldn't change anything to the pressure at the FI jet because you should put it before the pressure regulator which has the inbuilt filter in it. That's the whole reason you might want to put in an extra filter. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...n/P4060365.jpg |
