For Sale: KLR650, 2010 - Johannesburg, SA

Hey all!

I bought this bike May 2022 in Cape Town and have used it to tour Namibia/SA. Still on my tour but will be available in Johannesburg by 18th of July. Bike has been performing well so far and I haven't had any issues. It does burn a bit of oil like most KLR650s but not too much. Good if you want to tour southern africa.

Basics:
- Mileage: 33,000km
- Tyres: Mitas E7 (I would still use them for a couple thousand km more)
- Year: 2010

Features:
- Handguards
- Engine/Body Crash Bars
- Luggage Rack
- USB Charger
- Handlebar Bag
- Reckless 80L included - https://moskomoto.com/products/reckless-80l - Used condition and without tail bag as I used a bigger one but still very functional. Selling as I will buy a rack based system.
- Spare Keys
- Chain and Sprockets in good condition
- Spare parts: New Chain

Bike is licensed and up to date, have all papers. It's currently registered on a wilddog.net.za member, you could either register it in your name or most likely he could keep it registered in his name (to save you the trouble) and provide necessary papers to ride/use the bike as you see wish.

Price: 2300 USD

Looks a great rig ….I am looking for site th8ng similar in Southern Africa in November but preferably in Namibia where’s it’s easier to register in my name.

Did you have any issues crossing borders? And did you go elsewhere than Namibia?

Bike sold fyi. I can recommend https://www.gumtree.co.za/ for other bikes, that is where I found mine. I don't think you will have any problems finding a bike in Namibia either.

Border crossings wasn't any problems at all, no corruption or anything, very easy. We did west africa before so this was nothing in comparison.
We did North Namibia, Botswana and Zimbwawe with a 4x4, we wanted to go on safaris and most parks don't allow motorbikes.
