Is it still possible to buy a vehicle in Colombia..?

Sooo long story short two days ago I bought a new honda from a honda dealer in Bogotá.. RUNT previously done..
Today the call me saying there is a new law / rule which doesn't allow anymore to register a vehicle with just the passport, asking me for the "célula" (local ID)..

I cannot find any info regarding a new law or anything, and ofc on internet is full of articles, including local ones, saying that for foreigners the passport is enough...

Suggestions..?

What to do

I am convinced that your can get the bike registred.
If these was a law on Cedula,it should be connected to getting regstred in RUNT.

But it want help you as long as the dealer does not do what he should do.

I think that you need help. Not to search information. But to talk to the dealer.
Now that you can't change dealer, Since the bike is already bought.

Someone that know the procedure and speak fluent Spanish. And can put some preasure on the dealer.

I do not know such a persons, unless you are in Cali

But one step could be to put the question to a Whats App group.
I will PM info
