Hey Everyone!

I've been looking into purchasing a bike in South America for a long time and from what i can tell there's a bit of a mess of paperwork and bureaucratic nonsense to contend with, especially when crossing certain borders.

From what i can gather, the easiest way for me to buy a bike would be to buy a bike a from a traveler with a bike plated in a country outside the continent, i.e Canada, USA, Europe, Etc. Seems to make it possible to bypass all the bureaucratic stuff. Perhaps anyone who has done this can confirm or disconfirm this hypothesis?

I'm finally at a point in my life where i'm ready to make this trip, so if anyone is planning to end their trip about 1 or 2 weeks from now and is looking to have a buyer immediately available at the end of their journey, no matter how remote your final destination might be, please message me with the type of bike you have and the proposed selling location and we can talk. The problem with bikes from outside of SA is that you can not leave the bike for a long perioud for you to come back one day and continue your trip.
