2009 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom in San Diego, CA

Orange Julia, 2009 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom $4,200 US

Road burner, dreadnought, “ADV” or just Travel Bike, the Suzuki V-Strom 650 is an awesome way to cover on or off-road miles. The torquey V-twin motor makes power everywhere in the rev range, and the competent chassis provides a smooth comfortable ride that is surprisingly sporty for the long trips which the large fuel tank makes possible. This bike, Orange Julia, has 35,000 adult driven miles on the clock. Everything works (except the left heated grip, which is on backorder from Revzilla), and her paperwork is clean and straight. This has been our two-up bike, but sadly my pillion passenger has informed me that her back/hip does not enjoy motorcycling long distance anymore, so I’m thinning the herd.
