Purchase scooters or Moto in Spain
 

I plan on visiting Spain for 5 months beginning May 2023. I am interested in purchasing a inexpensive scooter or moto. Any recommended people or moto business to contact?

I wrote a detailed reply in another thread about a month ago, short version: this is not easy to do for people who are not residents. A better move would be to just rent a scooter on the odd occasions you want one, it's only 5 months.

I second Turbofurball's comment. I have Spanish-registered bike and 4x4 and you need to be registered in Spain's tax system and also registered on the local council list. Without these you can't get the bike in your name and can't insure it.

Hi, I'm planning to do something similar in may, and I have founded that it's easier to get a motorbike in Portugal. That's what I'm going to do.
