RENT/BUY Bikes in Rwanada/Tanzania/Close by
 

Hello!

Looking for bikes to explore Rwanda.
Either to rent out there or buy.
Ideally ready to go and more adventure orientated than not.
Happy to look at options in neighbouring countries as seems not so much on offer in Rwanda - or not that I found via the web
If any one has any leads, links, ideas, experiences out there I would be grateful!

Great country - not much opportunity to ride fast/far i think. Worth looking at some smaller local Chinese bikes?

The ride from Kampala (via NW Rwanda, Bwindi and QE Nat Park is stunning so explore what you can get there too.

Would agree with temporaryescapes: much better to go into Uganda than Tanzania: there's not that much to do/see in the west side. Maybe drop down to kigoma and lake tanganyika, but that's about it. If you're on a tight schedule, uganda offers more opportunities, I would say.
Include lake bunyoni o the suggestion above.
Burundi's not really the place to be right now, but you don't say when you are going, so that might change.

Rwandan roads are mainly, but not exclusively, tarred.

Get an East African visa online (at the country where you begin your trip) and you can pop in and out between Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya as often as you like.
