Bike swapp Southern Spain to Canada BC / Vancouver summer 2018
 

Available my BMW F800GS 2013, fully equiped for travelling. I would like to swapp a comparable type of bike in Canada British Columbia to make a trip in East Canada and visit my sun in Vancouver in the summer of 2018.

Bike swap Eastern US for south of Spain
 

I have two bikes in the eastern US I could swap for a ride in Spain.
- 2008 Kawasaki Versys 650
- 2003 Honda ST1300
Both bikes are tour ready seasoned veterans.
I’m retired also and a flexible, veteran bike swapper. I’ve swapped to New Zealand, Australia and Europe.

It says in your post that you want to pick up the bike in Vancouver, but you want to make a "trip in East Canada". That covers a lot of area; what exactly did you have in mind?

Driving distances, approximate: Toronto to Vancouver, 2700 miles. West Virginia (where olegeezer's profile says he lives) to Vancouver, 2700 miles. St. John (NFLD, a.k.a. "eastern Canada") to Vancouver, 4700 miles.

And just for the hell of it, southern Spain to Moscow, 2700 miles.

OP, maybe try to be more specific.

Yes Markharf is correct on the distance. 2727 miles per google maps.
My home is 553 miles from Toronto, an easy 2 day ride for most olegeezers like myself!

Hi Guys,
good respons. I just wrongly mentioned east Canada. Should be west or at least not too far from Vancouver. Say within a range of 1.000 miles. May start in the US if crossing the border is not a problem. I can drive kms. Made last year a trip from Spain via France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark to Norway, via Denmark, Germany, Italy back to Spain. GREAT trip (Alps, high mountain passes, 2000 hairpins, Norwegian fjords, and 12.ooo kms, but never a dull moment. Also travelling here in Spain is fantastic. Mountains, sea, marvelous cities, good food and Cheap. And I have an excellent machine here, complete for journeys (panniers, gps, etc). And, I can accomodate upon arrival for you to get rid of yetlag and advise you on a trip (even into Maroc).
So, interested to swapp?
