Bike swap Italy for the US or Canada
 

bier I have a fully restored (new chrome job, aluminum has been buffed all over, new tyres, valves, filters, gaskets, shocks, [...], nicely customized.. it is my pride and joy) black 1998 BMW R1200C sitting in my garage in Italy and I can't seem to find a way to ship it to North America for less than it is actually worth (money and customs pain included) to do a trip across countries (..a long one).
I was wondering if there was anyone from either the US or Canada that is planning the same kind of adventure in Europe and would like to do it hassle free. We could swap bikes, insurance and go.
Would like someone with the same bike, possibly, or, if not, perhaps an old Harley or an Indian would do. ..Crossing my fingers there.:mchappy:
