Bike to rent over Xmas in NZ
 

Hi

I am in NZ for a few weeks over Xmas. I have looked at the cost of bike hire in NZ and its quite expensive and the bikes are all big ADV bikes.

I am keen to do a little ridding (to get away from the mother in law). Not to fussy on the type or size of bike. I will be based in the Waikato but can travel to you.

I am hoping that one of the people on this forum are going away over Xmas so I can help them by storing their bike and giving them some cash,.

Dunno what you consider expensive, but I just booked a CB500X from motorent.nz for NZD105 per day in April... 70 euros a day - cheaper than anything I've seen in Europe!

hey, not sure where you are based, but might be able to organise a bit of a bike swap? we're looking for some ADV lightweight or midweight singles in Western USA next july (a group of 6 of us but will find the bikes individually and some may buy). It's not my bike but belongs to a friend of mine. I have a few actually based in the waikato, so happy to help. Just PM me, Jef
