Adv bike swap in nz for july 2018 western usa

i'm an experienced but not crazy older rider, looking for a bike to ride in the West of America, July 2018. I've ridden there before, i'm a decent bike mechanic who always carries tools and spares, and am leading a group on a 3wk ride starting in LA (or SoCal), through the rockies, looping back to California next summer 2018. Bike needs to be plated, and will be fully covered in case there was any issues (shouldn't be), and 100% my financial responsibility while in my possession. I've done swaps before successfully, and organised them for others. New Zealand is motorbike heaven, whether touring or off-road riding, and a good 500-700cc bike is ideal for here and for what I will be doing in the US. Let me know if anyone is keen, we have plenty of time to organise. Alternatively, if you have anything like an EFI 500-701cc (hint hint), I will have people interested in buying. I've ridden a 2007 bmw g650x-challenge over 20000miles through the americas so if you have one, I'm really interested! Here i look at getting you a DRZ400, possibly a g650x, DR650, or if you are really lucky a Husaberg 570 (my precious).

Thx, Jef

Bikes in Arizona Available

I'm in the process of thinning out the herd and will be selling (2) 2009 - KLR 650s, a 2006 KTM 525xc and a 2004 BMW 1150GSA.

I also have a place in southern Arizona if you need a place to camp, tools etc. A little warm in the summer however.

Many thanks Alaskasail! I am organising the ride, and several mates have not yet sorted their bikes. Not sure of their preferences, but we are generally looking for reliable light to midweight bikes for the rougher terrain. I rode through AZ last year in summer and it was hot, but manageable. Enjoyed havasu lake and horseshoe bend plus a few other stops...but it was mostly a commute to get to Monument Valley, and then back south to the start of the CDR.

Will keep your offer and bikes option in mind for sure, thanks for the reply.
