GPS waypoints for the Canning Stock route
 
Hello,

anyone who could help me to a complete set of waypoints for the CSR ,
planning to do the CSR in January 2005,
with fully equipped LR Disco (shipped out of Europe), 2 person trek
starting in Bunbury (have to bere there for a wedding)then of to the CSR and after that the
Gibb River Road, and then back to Perth,
to ship the vehicle back to Europe
4 weeks time frame

the "Great Desert Tracks" maps have all the useful waypoints and info such as well quality, fuel dumps ...

Mate,

DONT do the CSR in january, you'll bloody well die from the heat, it will be over 50 degrees !!!

as well

The Gibb River Road and all the dirt roads in the Kimberlies will be closed due to the wet season !!!

Thanks for the heat info,
spend some 5 years in Africa, no trouble with heat at all so far
more worried about bad weather conditions and flooding, wash outs and so on

keep the information goiing,
after condideration of everything maybe we will decide for alternative tours (more southbound)

Can I suggest the 'Great Central road' to Ayres rock, return via 'Ann Bedell track' ? This gives you an easy introduction to OZ, and a great senic landmark .. then a more remote track back .. if you have the time (and a 'known' way back if you spend too much time in the centre).

condidering the mentioned tracks ass well,
nothing is set as yet, all options are fully open untill decision time has come ,
somewhere around september,
