Hi Mate. Its a bit early to comit, but I might be interested to join you in some of the route. I'm moving to Perth soon, and if I can get off at work, would like to join you to the Horizons Unlimited Meeting in Queensland. I might ride the Great Central Road and meet you in Uluru for the rest of the ride to QLD.

I'm riding a 1150GS and we'll be two-up, as my wife's DR200 might be a bit slow for a 'quick' cross country ride to QLD. If the road has a lot of soft sand I might give it a skip for now, as the GS two-up in sand is hard work, and I'm by no means fit.
