Flying into Oz next week and looking for information about buying r hiring Bike in Adelaide just looking for something cheap and cheerful to do a bit of touring on :thumbup1: Something Dual purpose.. :helpsmilie:

The offerings for Adelaide are limited at the moment. I sometimes place a "wanted ad" in the magazine called "Just Bikes" , Contact us - Just Cars Magazine, not on line yet but goes all over Australia OR put a wanted ad in the Trading Post which is on line. I have family in Sydney, so if you find one there and I can arrange to check it out and truck it here. Go for either a Suzuki DR650, Kawasaki KLR 650 or Honda NS Dominator 650, I would look for one fitted with the side frames and top loading boxes. GS Cycles is a place to get tyres at the moment, radial Viper brand for around third of the price of Metzlers, Avons and Pirellis. Good luck.:scooter:
