Thieving Ba****ds

Hi all,
A bit of a long shot here, but worth a try I guess.
I woke up this morning to find some brain dead idiot has broken into my 60 series. They had a go at the lock on the tail gate, but couldn’t get it open, so they’ve smashed the back window through.
They’ve stolen my Viair compressor (but left the airline for it), my Coleman tent (but left the poles for it!!!) and my crappy roll mat……was that really worth it!
So, on the off chance anyone is offered, or spots on fleabay, a nearly new Viair compressor (no airline or carry bag and with a grey Anderson power connector instead of the usual croc clips). Or a Coleman Celcius Duo tent with a repair on one of the doors and NO POLES!
I know it’s a massive long shot, but if anyone sees anything like this could they let me, and/or the police know.

Thanks and happy travels to all.

p.s. if anyone has a rear window for a 60 tucked in their back pocket, let me know

Cheers
Sam

What planet are these people on, if they'd knock on the door like anyone else, i'd have made them a bloody cuppa

Glass

A Friend of mine fits autoglass so I could get a price for you if you want...you could fit it yourself if it is in a rubber, let me know the year and model and if it is tinted and what colour. Keep an eye on ebay and other places and I will act as a buyer for you. it will probably go to a car boot though.

Thanks a lot Graeme, that's much appreciated.
A girl i work with asked her boyfriend who works for RAC windows to try and get a price, but it looks like he's drawn a blank. If it's not too much agro for you to ask, it's a 1989 Landcruiser HJ60 and any tint or non-tint is fine. Please don't go to too much trouble though, i'm leaning towards welding a plate in instead at the moment.
I cover all the rear windows in white sticky backed plastic anyway (it makes a huge difference to the temp in the back when i'm in the desert), so i don't have any rear visibility anyway.
I'm guessing a new window will be at least £150+, so the budget conscious side of me wants to just weld in a plate instead which would only cost me pence.

All the best
Sam
