Shipping 4x4 SA to Europe
 

Hi all
Maybe this information can be find somewhere else in the forum..but I can't really find any.
I´m planning to drive Sweden to SA and want to ship my car back. Anyone now cost for one way shipping of containers from SA to Europe somewhere? If my car will not fit in a container; costs for shipping outside container the same route?

We shipped our LR Defender from Cape Town to Oslo 1 1/2 years ago after having driven down from the North Cape in Norway. The shipping home totalled around 3300 US$ with everything.

In retrospect, I would rather have "saved" the money, and driven back home again!

We Used 'Kenco Clearing Agents' in Cape Town (April 2005). They were extremely helpful and efficient (ask for Carol). Tel within SA: 021 5117147

Total cost was 15,000 Rand and then a further 500 GBP to complete the paperwork requirements in UK. Shipping time was 14 days.
