Hi Simon, I didn't think we were limited exactly, just that it's bikes only in the designated area. Or maybe there is an overland vehicle section somewhere on the fringe. Certainly would be good to get together as a group though.

Space left?

Best idea to contact Grant.

Its not so much the space in the 4x4 area as this is designated area but number of people attanding which is restricted to 500 for good reason.

If your interested then get registered and paid.

Save your blushes. I'm bringing a 19 year old Lada Samara.

parking arrangements

Ok guys - have been in contact with Grant regarding the 4x4 arrangements.

Our area will be the car park again but unlike last year where we were mixed with day visiting cars, we'll be all together towards the back - either parked along the fence or a semi - circle formation giving us a communal area allowing us to chat, and perhaps some mini presentations about use of equipment.

Lets sort it out when we meet

Looking foward to it

Circle the waggons, including the G version, and see off the indians on the iron horses!

4x4 camping area

Hi Becky

seems like you know the site from last year
is the car park grass or tarmac?
Where do we put up ground tents?
Could you enlighten us

Ta
ChrisC

Grant Johnson 11 May 2008 22:12

It's tarmaccy gravelly... :(

You can put your tent up there if you like, or find a space 50 yards away on nice grass for your tent.

First in best dressed - it will be full!

See you all there!

Ground tents

Hi Chris

Yep very famililar with the area (2 in 4x4 and 3 on a bike). The car park is a fine surface of gravel but there are areas around the edge that people pitched their tents on last year so shouldn't be a problem.

As Grant says, it will be full so the earlier arrival the better

Becky
