I did wrote an article "how to calculate an worldtrip" for car drivers.

Many ask for the costs by day.

The need of us tavellers are so different, that it is not easy to give you a real Number. Some want to do expensive stuff during their yorney - flying over gran canyon or okovango delta, others like to kayaking, rafting and so on.

Also some are doing strictly wildcamping, others are looking for campsites and hotel from time to time.

But I did give some Numbers, Hints and Links too...

There is a language Switch at the right side

The cost for clearing the car in fremantle is the total amount we gave the agent and covered getting the container of the ship, transport in the wharf, inspections and so forth. Will have a route around for the email our agent sent us but you can email Craig at c.rowan@indianoceansa.com.au and he can give to a breakdown.

you can do it yourself for cheeper but heard its not worth the hassle!

hope this helps

It's worth doing a really thorough cleaning before shipping to Australia. You'll see comments that the quarantine inspection will inevitably result in a requirement to "fumigate" and do an "approved" cleaning, which could cost up to AUD 500.00. We did a "deep clean" before loading and shipping our container and did not have to do anything on arrival in Australia.
