Heading West through Ontario
==================================================
!!!! English! !!! (Deutsch siehe unten)

Hi friends, here a short update after we survided first part of the wilderness in northern Ontario. Hey this is a bloody big country. We are in Thunder Bay and if u look on the map u got the feeling we did not even move.

We we left Toronto towards Manitoulin Island in the Huron Lake, we recognised that the ferry from Tobermory National Park did not even started the season. So we waited 3 days in the National Park and enjoyed the lonelyness. (Its 300 km penisnula and the ferry is the only way to get off that way, so when the ferry starts in May it is like a local celebration). Afterwards we got picked up on the ferry by a brother from the Motorcycle club Christian Bikers Association Canada and he invited us to stay in his house. He was working in a Indian reverve and showed us the Island and many more things whcih are important to know. Thanks John and Pam for being there at the right time.

From Manitoulin Island heading west we spent some days in Batchawana Bay at the beach (sunny weather) and near Wawa (rainy days and 0 degrees). Now we are in Thunder Bay, we have done almost 3000 km and we have 1500 more to go to Calgary. Next Info hopefully from Winnipeg next week. There will also be some pics available next week again.

And although I dont think that we need to mention it: We feel great and we love Canada. And we have seen out first Black Bear, unfortunately werent able to take a picture.

talk to u soon
Martin and Katja

Also Freunde bis bald.
Eure Twintraveller Katja und Martin
