Germany still... but planning to move on...
I'm getting set to continue my oddesey in a few weeks. Work here has become boring. The people really nice so have some regrets. May go to gs rally in Belgium organised by Rudi Denhof and Martine. Went to their first one a few years ago and was really impressed with the organisation.

Exiting Russia
When crossing the border from finland via vyborg the russian customs issue a form with the details of motorcycle. this i subsequently found out is a visa for the motorcycle the one i was issued was for2 months and my personal visa was for 3months no problem until i tried to exit russia at the norwegian border where i was refused exit for m/cycle as its visa was expired its a long story but suffice to say i was detained for 5 days my bike was confiscated pending an investigation by kandaluksa customs iwas subsequently allowed to leave with an extended visa and was not penalised in any way although it appeares i was entirely to blame because of my ignorance of russian language
strongly reccomend a careful check of the dates on the relevant forms to make sure they are the same
