Crossing into Romania was easy although the money changer tried to take a little too much commission. Carol was on the ball though. Arriving in Bucharest we contact our friends who track us down (big city) and escort us back to their large house. Carols' old school friend Shelley her husband Steve and their two children Charlotte and Joshua are living/working in Romania for a couple of years. We intend to enjoy their hospitality and arrange our visas for Iran Pakistan and India. Thanks guys. The visas were arranged without problems but arrangýng the extension of our Carnet caused a few problems but we hope all is in order now.

We did a small 1,000 kms loop into the north of Romania seeing the sights in Transylvania. A very bloody history. Friends of Steve and Shelley also arranged a tour of the Urfes brewery. Nice one.

Saying our goodbyes to our hosts was not easy. I forgot to mention Shelley was big with number three on the way and was heading to London the same day we were heading for the Black Sea coast. Got an Email couple of days later that she had the baby shortly after arrivýng in London. Close one.

We make it back to Burgas in a day which included a border crossing. A day with Martin we organize a rear tyre and that night we attempt English lessons with their teenage daughter. Tough ask.
