Detroit = Stay home after dark
After 2 weeks in Washington I rode to Louisville using backroads, good ride,
stopped at Huntington for the night and from there it was a short ride to Louisville.

I stayed with friends in Louisville, they made me very welcome, thank you for your hospitality.
This place is in Kentucky, some say the Horse Racing/Breeding Capital of the US/World?
Churchill Downs where the Kentucky Derby is held every year.
The interesting thing about this race is that the horse has to be 3 years old.

Not sure what this has to do with Horse Racing, Derby Hats?

Louisville to Detroit

After a week in Louisville I headed back to Ann Arbor to organise shipping my
bike back, my 6 month visa was about to run out.
I stayed with my old buddy and his family again, without their help and support this trip would have been a lot harder.
