Time Required:

Expect 6 hrs. to cross the border. By car it takes usually 24 + hrs. If you want to drive to Russia from Western Europe, you might think of going via Lithuania and Latvia.

No fees anymore. This was a different story in the past!

Procedure:

Transit visa's are no longer issued at the border. Do not wait in line with the cars. Drive with the mc. - carefully- in front of the queue.

Nice border crossing. Takes normally around 2 hrs.

This is normal. I crossed this border several times the last 10 years, and it is changing very often.
