Expect 6 hrs. to cross the border. By car it takes usually 24 + hrs. If you want to drive to Russia from Western Europe, you might think of going via Lithuania and Latvia.

Procedure:
Transit visa's are no longer issued at the border. Do not wait in line with the cars. Drive with the mc. - carefully- in front of the queue.
