Why Come to a Horizons Unlimited Motorcycle Travellers Meeting?

You can meet people who don't think you're crazy for wanting to ride your bike to South America or Africa or across Asia, or even around the world! Admit it, all your 'normal' friends and most of your family fears for your sanity! So, this is your opportunity to meet the people who will encourage you in that craziness, share their experiences and advice on how to do it, and maybe you'll meet them again in Mongolia or Timbuktu!

CANCELLED!

There is a major state and city tourism etc department sponsored bicycle race on this week.

This combined with other serious organisational difficulties has forced us to cancel the event this year.

Gerardo Ibarra and Arturo Macias are planning an event a week later, but it will be a much different event and NOT an HU Event. Anything that says otherwise that you may read elsewhere is NOT correct.

We are very sorry we had to cancel our event, and apologise sincerely to all who may have made plans. We did not take the decision lightly and have been trying very hard for some time to make it work for all, but it's just not possible.

We are rethinking how to make it work for 2008.

Accommodation/location and local organisation are the big problems.
