Why Come to a Horizons Unlimited Motorcycle Travellers Meeting?

You can meet people who don't think you're crazy for wanting to ride your bike to South America or Africa or across Asia, or even around the world! Admit it, all your 'normal' friends and most of your family fears for your sanity! So, this is your opportunity to meet the people who will encourage you in that craziness, share their experiences and advice on how to do it, and maybe you'll meet them again in Mongolia or Timbuktu!

What happened - Meeting report from Oscar:

"We are very, very happy, because all in our meeting was very good. We want to thank you both, because without your work it couldn't be possible. We had more people that we expected and they left Viedma happier than we thought too.

We must also thank all the travellers that forgave our mistakes and helped us with the organization. During the time of the meeting we have all been a big family, we ate BBQs, had a few beer and some wine, we rode our motorbikes around the city and we went to see the sea lion research, and we sailed in the river on a ship.

Sandra and Javier Kaper, (BA), and Julio from Puerto Madryn, who rode from 6 PM and arrived at 10:30 PM Friday - he drove 500 km in around 4 and a half hours in the rain to get to the meeting. Also three local riders and of course Oscar and family.

Getting There - GPS, Maps

40Â° 49' South 62Â° 59' West.

Viedma is right on the main highway heading south from Buenos Aires. Hard to miss! You won't have a problem finding the campsite once you get there, just ask for the moto-travellers campground, or the campground by the river. Phone Oscar for information if you have trouble. 02920-424096.
