hi any advice information good or bad about the ttr600 for general use /touring road and off road also whats the fuel consumpsion like im used to singles ive got a sr500 any info will be useful thanks steve

I have had one for about 3 years, havent done any long rides yet but plan too so would like advise on this aswell.

Have had no major problems with bike its pretty tough (been hit by two cars and it held up both times!!! :-) and once you get the hang of starting it, its fine still a bit hard to start when its really hot, i also only way 70kg so have to play around with shock/spring so its easier for me to start when its on rough ground when i stall it, at the mo have to find neutral and put kick stand down :-)

it doesnt seem to be that economical either but seems to be running pretty rich at the mo and needs an oil change.

big tank can be brought of acerbas for about $700 AUS may be cheaper in europe

Anyway any advise on running crap fuel and what happens if you only have access to crap oil (being wet clutch and all that not sure how it will go) would be greatly appreciated aswell.
