Yamaha Tenere xt660z axle
 

I am trying to change the front tire on my Tenere but the axle bolt will not turn. I am worried about applying to much pressure on the axle and breaking it. Any advise out there.

I have an XT660Z Tenere.

Have you loosened the two Allen screws that clamp the spindle?

If you have then you will need a Hex bar to insert into the end of the spindle and then as you are standing at the front of the bike or facing the spindle rotate anti-clockwise.

I would also suggest that you enrol on XT660.com as we have a wealth of information from members all over the world on there.
