Y boot for XT600 single carb conversion?

I'm trying to get hold of a 'Y boot' so I can do a bit of an experiment with a single carb conversion (long story) on my XT600.

I've seen them on the net it was a while ago but can't find them now - they were for 660 Raptors (ATV's).

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.

I thought the raptors have 2 carbs similar to our XT's and the Grizzly's had the single carb Y adapter.

You're correct that the Raptors have a twin carb. I'm wanting the Y boot to convert to a single.

single carb onto XT

hi tom,

are you looking at FCR 39/41 conversion? anyone ever tried this?

maybe get an ally Y peice fabricated and attach carb with silicone hose at joint.

apparently FCR's are the way to go for elefants, I can vouch for the poor efficacy of the standard CV carbs at low revs.
the twin carb set up of the XT address this low speed fueling problem, if they are not 25 years old and worn....

but a secondhand set of FCR's for my fant cost more than I paid for the XT....
