XTZ660 neutral light
Hi, I've recently got this '92 XTZ660. Its a cheap old thing but not badly abused. The only problem I really want to fix, is that the neutral light stays on all the time.
Where is the neutral switch located? Cheers. |

Behind the front sprocket!
![]() A thin cable should be connected to a very small screw there... At least that is where mine is... XT600E.. Vando

Thanks. I've got to do chain & sprockets sometime soon. I'll dig through the accumulate chain lube in the front sprocket area, and see.

If the neutralswitch is grounded, it will alwyas light.
It could be the switch itself being bad, mine was, but it was often NOT glowing. |
