xtz660.fitting finned rectifier to 1993 model
 

hi,i have a slight problem that hope fully some one out there has got the experience on how to correctly fit an rr26 regulator/rectifier to a 1993 xtz 660.

the wiring on my bike has a four pin plug.
3 white wires that connect to alternator.
1 red wire that goes to i assume the main switch.
1 black seperate wire that comes from the harness that goes to rectifier,assume this is an earth?

The rr26 rectifier(finned)that i want to fit because i hear they are more reliable than the counter part,has a 6 pin plug.

3 yellow that are to the alternater
1 red wire that i assume goes to the main switch.
1 black wire i assume is the earth.
1 brown wire?does any body know where to attach this wire and what is the function of this wire.or can i run the rectifier assuming the above is connected,leaving this wire de-tached,
