Hey!

I'm gonna add to add one of these to my shopping list:

ENDURANCE

I like most the endurance and the vapor computers...

-The RPM digital dial of the Vapor makes it very attractive
-The temperature thingys are not that useful for me and they are made for water/radiator lines which the XT doesn't have but I think I can fit it somehow... lol

I'd consider on getting the WR250 wheel speed spacer/sensor if it could be attached to the computer for the speedometer..


Keep in mind that I got a 2002 YZ250 complete front end on my 1990 XT600E

Hi,

I bought a Vector after the original odometer on my bike failed. (opened it up, it was made of the cheapest plastic parts imagineable and they cost £130 or so new!) Vector, in comparison, is much cheaper and very nicely made. I'd definately recommend.

Hi Matt!

What was the "bike model" reference for that Vector Kit?
did you get the Engine Temperature sensor separate or was it included?

If you could post me a picture of the Vector in place I'd be really thankful

I,ve got one on my 86 tenere but I did,nt fit it! No use to you at all I,m afraid but it is a very nice piece of kit....

Why do you say it's useless?
You need the vapor computer, speed sensor, bolt magnet, Raptor700 tach cable(the one with a resistor) and 12mm air cooled temperature sensor.

Also, you'll need to make a way of getting it fix to the front headlight bracket or something similar.

I meant I was of no use as I never fitted it and cannot help in any way.....the vapour is a fine piece of equipment....

Keny: sorry about that, I must've read wrong.....


Cambelt: Well, I've fitted the front forks from a 2002 YZ250...but either way, either with the stock or the YZ front forks you will need to fabricate a small bracket to fit everything nicely..

You need to have some basic skills with a soldering iron so you can make the right electric connections..

Just one more thing... I had some pieces of scrap fiberglass project laying around and I cut it, made a couple of drill holes so I could reposition the ignition switch to the right of the trailtech vapor computer...
