Hi Guys,
I'm new to this forum thing so please bear with me!! I have bought a 1997 XT600E as a box of bits and am in the middle of a restoration, the information i'm hoping for is a picture of the CDI / ignitor wiring/plug set up,i ask this because the chap who had this bike before me decided it would be a good idea to chop the wires at this point and lose the multiplug connections which would connect the harness to the ignitor unit!!! All i have is a bunch of wires and i do not know which order they will refit back onto the ignitor unit. Any help would be very much apprieciated, thanks in advance. COME ON GUYS THIS IS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE OF FORUMS,IS ANYONE OUT THERE??? Last edited by moto1818; 19 Dec 2010 at 19:55. |

Hi,
I can send you the wire colors and where they go of the CDI and the coil. Or send a photo. There is also a link somewhere to download the manual and that has the full wiring diagram. I have a 98 xt600e so it should be close. Let me know if I should send you the wiring diagram from my manual if you haven't been helped yet. |
