XT600 or XT600e ?

I have an XT600 of 94.
I'm not sure if it's 600e or not.
What's the difference:confused1:...

As I know it, the "E" stands for electric start (no manual kick starter).

1994, with plastic cowls on the lower sides of the fuel tank, oil in frame with a plastic cover that needs to be removed to check the oil level and with the silencer as part of the rear subframe is a 600E.
Earlier Tenere models were generaly either red & white or blue & yellow.

it's with electric start, so OK it's an XT600e.
I'm actuallt thinking of changing it to motard.
Any idea from where I can buy rims and all?

Hi there, I'm sure that I've read somewhere that the "e" stands for europe, and identifies the later bikes made in italy, instead of japan, like the 3AJ model I own.

No not E for Europe.... My 2003 is an E and is made in japan. XT600E for E-Start.

Andy.
