XT600

Hi!!
I am thinking of buying an used (1993 with 40.000 Km) XT 600. What are the diferences of the XT trought the years (what were the improvements since 1993 until nowdays in the XT)? What is the expected engine max mileage before overhaul?? are the later bikes more reliable?? What is the bike normal gas consumsion??

Wich is the best internet site for the XT600?

Thanks for your help

Renato

I recently bought a 95 xt600. I am pretty satisfied with it considering its my first bike. I remember klaus mentioning bikes made after 1989 had better oil pumps. As far as fuel consumption i seem to get 18-20 Km's per litre or about 230Km's before hitting reserve. This is general road and trail use.
