XT350 vs. XT600. Difference?

So I've done a fair amount of riding on the XT350--a 1994, 1992 and 1986.

The XT350 had a pretty good length of life for production and didn't have too many changes throughout the years. At least to my knowledge.

So here's my question, what sort of mechanical differences are we talking between the XT600 (I'm looking at some mid-eighties bikes) and the XT350.

I rebuilt the top end on one of the 350's and am pretty familiar with the other design features.

Differences? Opinions? Suggestions?

the 350 was a double overhead cam bucket and shim engine and the 600 a single overhead cam with rockers.
