XT engine prefix "49R" - what year?
Hi all
I am being offered a kickstart "XT" engine with prefix 49R. No other info on the engine and I can't seem to find this prefix listed anywhere. Any ideas what this engine might have come out of originally? Also where does it fit in the xt600.de 'engine swap' chart? Cheers ------------------ Barry 3AJ Tenere

Barry,
Is it possible the engine prefix is hard to read and it has been mis-read as "49R" instead of '43F' of 1984-6 vintage??? Geoff
