xt 600 wiring help please
hi just bought a xt 600 but its got a problem someone has taken a knife to the wiring and when i put the battery on and connect it up theres nothing its totally dead what i want to do is take all the lights and stuff off that i dont need as this is gonna be for off road only have done this on a few other bikes before i just go for strongest spark to the coil then connect the rest of the essential parts up ( cdi ,starter, recitifer and battery ) would this b possible with this bike or not if not could u point me in the right direction to get a wiring diagram so i can try to repair the problem , its the electric start type with no kickstart i think its a 95 but not 100%

a few posts before... this is your model, with the full service man you find also wiring diagram. You can surely eliminate lights , but unless u add a kickstarter to your engine, cannot eliminate battery
