This Bike Chat Forums : Links to the manufacturers bike's user manuals does not mention the Tenere but could be worth a look if you have a specific problem that may be covered by another model.

Hi,

I have found the Clymer Yamaha XT600 & TT600 1983-1989 to cover most/all things I have needed to do (ISBN 0-89287-546-1), but does not cover the 3AJ specifically.

I also have a German repair manual (ISBN 3-7168-1789-9) which does cover our 3AJ and I have found the diagrams excellent - my German is improving too........

My 3AJ is an imported Series 1. I think the UK 3AJ was a Series 2 with slightly different gearing, etc.... There is a link to the Series 1 microfiche diagrams that has been posted here in an old post (held on the Dutch Tenere forum site?) and this old post also covers links to the Owners Manual and Wiring Diagram (held on the UK Tenere forum site?).

If anybody has an original manual for the 3AJ (Brian?), perhaps you could post the yamaha part# - I guess our local Yamaha dealers could try and order one (sometimes photocopies are available)?

Ciao,
Geoff

try KEDO

Hello there! Does it have to be in english? Otherwise try KEDO - Performance Products , they have manuals for all XT's, only they're in german(Buchelli/Motorbuchverlag). If that's not a problem you got some excellent manuals! XT-greetings, Hans van Langen.

Also found the xt600e-manual, link posted by kentfallen on the first sticky here on yamahatech, to be very good with (almost) all info you need.
