Wiring Switched Circuit XT660Z 2011

Question for all you autoelectricians out there.

I'm wiring in a fuse box to my bike which I'd like to have switched power through a relay.

I've got a Halfords relay with pins 85 & 86 which cross the relay coil with a diode in situ and pins 87 & 30 which look to be the switch that is live when the ignition is on.

So, my question is, which wires go where? Is this correct:

85 - switched (+) e.g. tail light circuit
86 - earth
30 - to battery (+)
87 - live switched output to fuse box

Or have I got that completely AoT?

Thanks.

Answer appears to be, in case anybody else wants to wire stuff via a Halford's relay:

The four relay terminals are labelled 30, 85, 86 and 87. These are connected as follows:
- 30: positive battery terminal
- 85: cable from sidelight or other switched circuit
- 86: earth (or negative battery terminal)
- 87: Live to fusesbox/load
